I love the change of seasons, for the most part! One of my favorites is using a variety of spices to "kick up" boring vegetables or tame my sweet tooth.

Try adding cinnamon and nutmeg to roasted sweet potatoes, ginger to carrots or curry and cardamon to butternut squash. In addition to the spice, all of these vegetables may lower sweet cravings as well.
