Some of my clients are struggling with allergy symptoms so I'm sharing my "Allergy Took Kit" since I experience them year-round but particularly in the fall.
Remember, we are ALL unique and no one thing works for everyone! Try a couple ideas and let me know if you receive any relief.
It’s my number one recommendation, especially for sinus congestion and infections. Why? It rinses the allergens, toxins, chemicals etc. out of sinus so they don’t make a home for themselves and breed bacteria.
Reduce or eliminate to decrease mucus and congestion
Turmeric & Black Pepper
Black Pepper helps turmeric absorb. Turmeric contains curcuminoids and helps reduce inflammation and provides antioxidant properties.
Consume fresh, supplement and/or dry powder in recipes and drinks.
For example, Gaia-Herbs-Turmeric-Strength-Phyto-Capsules
Turmeric & Ginger Hot Drink
⅛-¼ teaspoon of each turmeric, ginger.
Add a dash of black pepper
½-1 tablespoon honey
Add to 8 oz hot water. Sip for extra immune support!
A powerhouse of essential amino acids, vitamins, minerals and trace elements.
Add 1 tablespoon to shakes/smoothies, soups, casseroles or other liquids
Dry brush before getting into the shower. Use a circular motion and work towards the heart. Then shower or bathe. This facilitates circulation and toxic elimination through the skin.
Jump on a rebounder (mini trampoline). For 3-5 minutes at a time. This shakes up your whole body and is particularly useful for stimulating lymph drainage, thereby moving toxins out.
