Divine Hands






I was amazed at the vibrant color of the Swamp Cherry Maple tree I see from my office window. I realize the photo doesn't do it justice but I just had to share it! Every time I looked up from reading Divine Hands, it distracted me in a marvelous way. I took time to soak in the brilliance of nature, knowing it was temporary.


I was also inspired as I read the booklet, Divine Hands. My friend, Christine Labrum, Spiritual Director and Artist has released a new booklet. What Is The One Thing?

Snack Smart For More Energy





Food fuels your body and affects your energy levels. Choose a combination of smart foods for sustainable focus and resiliency. Try some of these options:


  • Nut/seed butters with a fruit or vegetable.
    • Celery with almond butter
    • Pears or apples with SunButter (sunflower seed butter)
  • Hummus with carrots, broccoli, cauliflower
  • Semi-frozen berries with a sprinkle of granola


Prepare in advance for the office, baseball field and/or car. This is half the battle! Once you start planning and consuming smart snacks on a regular basis, your body will thank you with more stamina and mental clarity.


If your current snack selection for energy is sugar, caffeine, or simple carbs, your blood sugar will take a roller coaster ride and your energy along with it, for a new low.
